Privacy must become a priority for Vivaldi
-
The reason I use "non-standard" browser(s) is quite simply, to protect my privacy.
Vivaldi does not take this very seriously.
Example:
No way to by DEFAULT set incognito mode, meaning its on by default!
No way to get RID of history tracking completely.
No way to remove all cookies after closing browser by defaultGoogle and the other large companies are attacking freedom and privacy at will, they have no shame nor ethics, they want to simply know everything about everyone, all communications period.
This is their goal, they don't even hide it, they brag about it to advertisers.Vivaldi needs to take a few simple steps to show the world that they stand with freedom and privacy, and are not part of a stalin-like attempt to track and sell everything about everyone.
As a browser, you've chosen to keep many of the options chrome has discarded in the name of 'easy of use' but is really forcing people to NOT use bookmarks, (makes them use google to search every time).
Prove your for freedom, add those features to ruin googles source of income.
I put it out as a challenge to bankrupt google by making it impossible for them to use analytics to track people.
Anything else, and you are part of the problem. -
use something else

There's a Speed Dial where you can customize multiple pages and multiple folders within each page, and multiple folders within each folders of your favourite links. There is also a bookmark manager, and a bookmark sidebar. 1.8 will also a revamped history so you don't need to search for things again. There is also a bookmark bar available. Tab stacking for organizing your tabs and a quick search to find tabs.
I'm not really sure what more you expect Vivaldi to do to provide options to avoid searching Google every time.
