Vivaldi does not display images or gifs from links
After the most recent update I cannot view images or gifs from links. They are simply just grey. For example, clicking on a gif from giphy, this is what I see on the single gif page.
Or if I click on an image in google hangouts to view it, I just get one big grey page.
That's strange, maybe an extension issue?
Did you try to disable them all?
Yes, I disabled all of them and have the same issue. It's super weird....
Only guess, I'm not in Mac, but maybe MP4 problem.
This what I got from one of animated image source;
<video alt="BBC bbc ocean crab atlantic GIF" src="https://media.giphy.com/media/3o6ZtmVJdkydTTGehG/giphy.mp4" poster="https://media.giphy.com/media/3o6ZtmVJdkydTTGehG/giphy_s.gif" autoplay="" loop="" playsinline="" style="width: 480px; height: 240px; left: 0px; top: 0px;"></video>
The one end with *.gif doesn't even animated.
@dLeon It's not just gifs that are the issue too. I also have issues viewing images from hangouts. Like if someone sends me one and I click on it, it just opens a blank gray screen.
If with Hangout, I couldn't say much.
As far as I know, Vivaldi, has a back and forth relation with that extension or its apps version. Especially Vivaldi Snapshot which based on Chromium Beta.
