Native User agent Switcher?
So by now folks probably know I whine about Vivaldi and DRM video and so many users say change the user agent string but i dont trust the third party extensions and I am always iffy about manual changes for fear of really breaking something so would it not be good for the team to add a native switcher until companies either recognizes us or the team gets around to a work around
@asianmusicguy There is no need to debate this. The feature request was made for 1.7, so you only need to add it to the Feature Requests thread for 1.8/1/9, then those who agree it would be useful can upvote your post.
Thanks my friend I went looking but was not sure where to look it kept bringing me to archives
for now you can force a user agent via commandline, make a copy of Vivaldi icon on desktop and change the path like this
"C:\Program Files\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe" --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0"
or any other user agent string you want.
