ESPN 3 or ESPN

I can't get Vivaldi to open Watch ESPN or ESPN3 links in a popup window, the way it is supposed to work and does with other browsers. I like Vivaldi more each day and am using it daily but this is sort of a deal breaker as the only way to watch most women's sports is online. I do that often but can't get it to work here. Any idea why or what setting to change to allow it? I did discover there's a separate flash for Vivaldi, but that's not the issue I don't think. Just clicking the link in the ESPN tab takes me to the normal spot where you input your tv provider, but then it just says you are signed and loops through that endlessly without ever opening the new viewing window. In Firefox, Edge, Chrome that opens a new window with the event. Why does that not happen here? And how can I make it do so? Thanks for any ideas! :^) gene

ESPN supports html5-videos so flash should not be the problem.
Does it start to work when you install an "user agent changer" extension from here and switch it to one of the browsers that work for you? -
I installed it, will need to wait for an opportunity to try it. Thanks for the idea. The first thing I found that works better in FF than in Vivaldi. I use that a lot for things like tennis majors, or women's sports and really want a way to have it work here too. FF works fine, just slow sometimes. I prefer the speed of Vivaldi, without the tracking applications Chrome drops and my antimalware calls PUP's. :^)

Don't know if it matters, but before latest snapshot ( 1.8.770.25 ) Vivaldi did not support pop-up windows, it just tried to open them in new tab.
