We have been receiving a number of questions related to the so-called “Cloudbleed” issue, and we’d like to clarify these matters.

I reset my password, but again I cannot sign in. I tried both uppercase and lowercase username, and full email address, new password and old password.
Nothing will allow me to sign in. If I revisit the email link that I received, I get this message:
An error has occurred
Error Details : Invalid information provided. Either the user not found or captcha answer is incorrect. Cannot proceed.
I finally noticed the paragraph about reporting errors, and submitted a report to vivaldi.com/contact.

I reset my password again, and now I can log-in OK.
@pesala: I'm confused-- if the session was expired and you couldn't sign in, how did you post this?
Had some problems with logging in to mail via IMAP after the password change. First I tried to set the new password in the IMAP client but that didn't work out as expected, then I deleted the account in the client and did a fresh setup with the new password again - all OK now.

Users who were logged in the affected period from September 21 to November 4 had their passwords reset.
shouldn't you reset the password for period September 20 - November 5, just to be sure you won't miss some people by not taking timezones into account?

@dLeon There's a captcha when you invoke Password reset on login.
O darn it, you right. I don't remember that.
Or, I also don't like that picture captcha so I don't want to remember it.

And if this about The New Vivaldi Snapshot 1.8.770.9, then either you open new thread in one of Vivaldi Browser sub forums or post your question in https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/14790/a-historic-snapshot-vivaldi-browser-snapshot-1-8-770-9. Just give more complete & clear question.

I have two emails at vivaldi address: firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com
As a result of recent malfunctions, I managed to reset the password for melchior, but I can't seem to get the other one ("rifloute") How can I do to get it back?
