mailvelope extension don't work with GMX.net account
-
Hi,
I use Vivaldi since some weeks and I'm very happy with them. But now I've a little bit trouble with my favorite extension mailvelope which I use to receive and send openPGP encrypted eMails via Webmail client.
My problem is now, that it works on my before used Srware Iron browser with my both mail providers gmx.net and posteo.de. After exchange to Vivaldi and installation of mailvelope extension, the posteo.de service works fine but the gmx.net service don't work. With iron and firefox it works still fine, so it seems to be an issue in Vivaldi.
Any idea?

@UbIx Thanks a lot. Let us wait what the developer says.

Does Mailvelope work now for you on GMX?

Hi @gwen-dragon
I've checked your proposal, but with your and some other settings it don't work at all.

@Ubix Perhaps you can install a extension User Agent Changer and add in Options at Permanent Spoof List Firefox for gmx .net

Really strange, if i tested mailvelope on webmail sites the mailvelope button appeared and i could open the popup to enter text.
Like described on https://www.mailvelope.com/de/help#messagesWhat fails for you?

@gwen-dragon - Yes I'm two with the Webmail from Posteo.de it works fine with mailvelop - only GMX.net (the biggest cost free mail provider in Germany) I've the problem. I fix it in the moment with my K-9 mail client on my Sony Tablet, which supports GnuPG fine. But mainly for other (German) users this can be an issue.
PS: It can be an issue of the server setup from GMX - but I don't know and GMX have no kost free service team - but the answer was -use Firefox or Chrome - this will work :stuck_out_tongue:

Strange that the Mailvelope dev did not react to your Github issue report. Bad!
