Magnet app use
-
I use the Magnet app to move my windows around and unfortunately Vivaldi doesn't move without using the native window setting. I'm not sure if there is anything that could be done about that on your end, but really it's personal preference since I don't enjoy seeing the top part that isn't part of Vivaldi. Thanks!

Unfortunately, Vivaldi does not support this at the moment. I have noticed this problem too when trying to do a split-screen on macOS. Maybe you can suggest a fix in the 1.8/1.9 feature request.

How would I request a change made in an upcoming update? Sorry, I just made this account because I would really love if this was supported.

It looks like this is been an issue for a year so far and hasn't been addressed.
Back to Chrome I guess

@baitalmal Magnet App can't move something that's not a native window. That will not change. Vivaldi is not, and is unlikely to ever be, a native window.

Have a look here: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/20353/fix-window-controls-on-macos
When switching the window to 'Full screen mode' and then back out of 'Full screen mode' the window to be fully controllable.

@jeichhorn There have been a number of requests to improve Vivaldi's integration with the native macOS desktop in general. I don't think it's an impossible task but will require enhancements to Vivaldi's window management code. I know that this is something that the Vivaldi team would like to improve on, time and resources permitting.
