@Pesala for some reason it says so if you select the text and use rclick/go to but press again enter in the address and it appears.
-
Everytime I restart Vivaldi, web panel favicons are gone.
-
@LakeInHolland: You can edit your message from the forum side.
The "3rd party" cookie thing is because of the two different domains - .com and .net. Same session login, however,
-
@Telegram: The ability to customize themes and skins much more thoroughly will be provided. Right now, some rather huge basic features have focus.
-
@Ayespy Thanks for that Ayespy. Nevertheless, surely it means I have to change that setting when surfing the wild world web?

Yes but here in Oz it's Sunday morning, so that's even wower !!

@pafflick -- i read your earlier post about that, & thought "aha", so i then added that 2nd one to my 3rd party exceptions. However, i still cannot login. Sigh. [writing this in Forum not Blog].
-
@steffie: Have you included the subdomains as well? You need to add an entry like this:
[*.]vivaldi.net
. I've just posted this comment from the blog with the "Block 3rd party cookies" option turned on.BTW. (I'm editing this on the forums). I hate the lack of the preview box and that page reload on sending the comment, so I'll definitely stick to the forums only...
-
@pafflick -- oh? This is my current arrangement; not right?
-
No, you have to either include all subdomains (by replacing
https://
with the regular expression[*.]
) or add selected subdomains (in this case login.vivaldi.net and forum.vivaldi.net) manually. That should do the trick. -
@pafflick: oh wow you're a genius, now it does work for me. Thanks heaps [i'd assumed my method was adequate, but clearly not]. Eureka!
-
@helsten2 Yeah
More Restarts and the panel icon's gone again. -
Soon Vivaldi will overtake Opera, Edge, Firefox and even Chrome.
-
the setting for removed private data still not remember.....
and the function for native windows still not function properly... although windows 10 resolved this issues.

I'm not sure that I've seen a page that loads in other browsers but not Vivaldi, but this is one of them. I mention it in case it's important. You'll notice that it does load correctly for a split second before breaking.

@rseiler -- is it supposed to look like this? If yes, then it's not broken in my V [SS 1.7.735.36 (Official Build) dev (64-bit)].

No, that's the broken version. There's supposed to be a table up top, and feature descriptions down below.

https://discordapp.com/featuresWorks if I change the user-agent to google-chrome on Windows.
I only use Linux so can't test if Vivaldi actually works with the Discord app on Windows. -
@rseiler -- aha, ok, sorry to waste yr time.
