Further improvements to tab drag and inline title editing - Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.5.655.3
For our final snapshot of the week, we have more tab drag fixes and further improvements to inline editing of titles.
We are still very interested in reports of any new bugs that have appeared since 1.4 (regressions). Thanks for all your assistance and enjoy your weekend!

Sah-weet! A new snapshot! :D
Quick check and this one has the same issues as the last few in the series:
1. Unending "Loading…" at the top of a vivaldi://history web panel
2. Bookmark ribbon doesn't change color after a page is dragged to the Bookmark Bar
3. Bookmark icons have different colors in Address and History pages/panels
4. Desktop/Mobile toggle in Web Panel doesn't toggle
Now to take it out for a good slide around the block!

OK, I found WebGL 2.0 Prototype (chrome://flags/#enable-unsafe-es3-apis) flag as a source of an issue.

Grrr… Less than half an hour ago, having missed the previous release, I finally got round to installing 1.5.654.3...
And now for the first time the login screen seemed to have forgotten my p/w... It's a good thing Vivaldi and I are friends! (So thanks all the same!)

You can get feedback on bugs as soon as you release an osx version.
Thanks for another snapshot this week, great work! So far no issues here.

I'm amazed at the number of snapshots you are delivering per week!
Are you guys high on caffeine, though? Are you guys sleeping?

Just compared that to Chrome. Same. So, feature, not bug.

I've noticed a bug since few months back - when you type in the search box in settings, the typing is choppy and sort of lagging - as if letters you type don't appear in real time. And even typing a few searches to get it "warmed up" it still performs choppy and laggy. Certainly now a game breaker, but I thought I should let you know.

Congrats on the releases!

Speaking of drag and drop, I'd like to be able to drag selected text or object from one tab, switch to another and drop it there. It works on pages tiled side by side without any problems. I just can't switch tab while dragging. (VB-15365 :-) )

Thanks for the updates.
Still an issue where the advisory for a new snapshot appears in a new window, behind an open Vivaldi window, and cannot be accessed to install the update.
Closing it via the taskbar and doing a search for updates is easy enough as a workaround, but it would be good if you could fix it.
Thank you. :)

Fingers crossed the freezing bug when playing youtube videos hasn't occurred yet on this build. Might had been a chromium engine issue with the previous version as I suspected.
iANCooG, how's it working for you?
Spoke to soon :(

No changes. With HW acceleration on, i still have lots of frame drops especially on 60fps videos and lots of hiccups (slowdowns+brief freeze) in playback if not played in fullscreen, but no issues in fullscreen.
