Snapshot 1.4.589.2 - Vivaldi 1.4RC 1

Touch input is done through the UI - which is coded totally separately in VIvaldi from Chromium. Vivaldi doesn't use the chrome/chromium UI, and so cannot use their touch inputs. Touchpad input is direct to the system, and the code works the other way. VIvaldi only has to code how to interpret it in the UI.
Dropping a highly needed feature today is not very welcoming. Ubuntu is also moving into touch screen actions in the very near future. Nearly all laptop makers are adding touch screen to their products.

I've noticed this as well from time to time. The key is to re-initiate the Find in Page immediately after the Refresh while Vivaldi is still in the process of reloading the page. I also can only reproduce this on pages like this one that are rendered dynamically, not on static content.
In all fairness, other browsers don't do a great job of handling this particular case either because the page is still in an incomplete state at the time. If I wait a fraction of a second longer for the page to finish reloading and rendering, everything works fine.

Issue with right-click mouse functionality. Inconsistent appearance and responsiveness. I only do snapshots on my Ubuntu VM, so this may be a function of the OS, VM environment or whatnot. Whenever I right click for the menu such as this image
opens in new window, Dropbox
Sometimes take multiple right clicks to come up.

yes, me too, i reported this

Netflix is still not working, it previously said there's an error with widevinecdm, now it just says there is an unexpected error.

Hi, DamanGoldberg, this issue might be caused by draging the mouse pointer while right-clicking, it doesn't take too much movement to activate mouse gestures, we are looking to improve this, so that situations like this does not happen. If it still happens when holding the mouse completely still, please report a bug here: https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/

A small usability bug with the new scheduled themes is that once I've enabled a schedule, if I try to create a new theme and give it a label, once I press Save (or make other changes to the new theme) the automatic schedule kicks in and selects the scheduled theme instead of letting me carry on editing my new theme.
Perhaps the intuitive thing to do would be to automatically modify the active schedule so that the new theme replaces the currently scheduled theme (under the "Now" marker). I like this new feature and am testing the idea of theme schedules to warn when it's time for lunch and going home!

It's not "dropping" a feature. It's not being able to get it written, yet. It must be written, mostly from scratch.

@PimM:
Yeah, would like to see the panel slide over the webpage as well, it would make the panel feature much more useful for me (on a small 13" laptop)!
I can certainly agree with your usability suggestion. And I support your request. BUT I want any consideration to be optional for the following reason. I have a wide-screen monitor and use the panel (in addition to it's intended use) to narrow the content area. Most websites don't need full screen width when viewed on a wide-screen monitor.

Aronand, it has been reported as a bug, VB-21097 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on VirtualBox.
