Snapshot 1.1.453.36 - Vivaldi 1.1RC1
-
Today's snapshot is the first release candidate for Vivaldi version 1.1. Even if no further _major _issues are found, Vivaldi will be rebuilt for the stable update stream before it is released.
-
Thanks for finally adding the feature, to show a loading indicator after clickign a link, even though the website is not responding immediately!
-
Any reason why you have removed icons from menus? (icons were in other menus as well)
I liked them…

Both Vivaldi and PepperFlashPlayer got updated and twitter videos started playing fine. Thank you! Still can't stream videos from websites like www.ctv.ca though. Need to switch to Windows.. but it is OK.
-
the last snapshot still has some problems but thankfully they're fixed in this one. Now this is my new default browser, thanks for the update.

Few users were reporting incomplete download errors when updating snapshots using Vivaldi some time ago. I used to have this issue as well.
Last couple of versions updates downloaded without issue on the first try!
Just to let you know. -
Great news Vivaldi

If a total inability to browse the Internet on a touch-screen device isn't a major issue, then I don't know what is. I'm still stuck with the beta version of Vivaldi on my tablet. Any hope for fixing this issue anytime soon?

I have said this before! I copied and pasted!
I have seven requests, some of them many users have asked also, I think the addition of these seven options Vivaldi would be complete!
1° - Add a mode of reading, like Firefox, or the former extension Evernote Cleary
2° - Add download speed in download panel.
3 - Add an option for when you have more than one tab open to avoid closure by accident Vivaldi, as it has in Firefox.
4 ° - Add an option to put their own miniatures/images in blocks/sites Speed Dial
For me the Speed Dial this perfect, but I believe that the fourth option would please many, Anyway it's good to have more customization options!5 ° - I do not know if I have that option, I do not find! Only against the option of importing bookmarks and settings.
Add an option to export the Vivaldi settings, as well as have the option to export the markers, I think it will come along with the sync in the future! More would be nice to have this option, if a user makes a complete desistalação Vivaldi, only he gets the configuration export and add back in the Vivaldi.6° - Adding a RSS feed reader, I am using the extension Feedly notifier, only that fails a lot in Vivaldi, for example, even checking the option to have sound when new feeds arrive, no sound! So it would be nice to have an RSS reader by default!
7° - Add the option to arrange the icons of the extensions , as well as in Chrome, drag the icon to either side .
I hope that in the future the Vivaldi have their own store extensions
Vivaldi is now my default browser! Thank you for this wonderful browser!Add a mode of reading, like Firefox, or the former extension Evernote Cleary - VB-15297

regarding the rss feed I think you might want to try using this (it's like the old opera feed): https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/the-rss-aggregator/ffhafkagcdhnhamiaecajogjcfgienom
about the reading mode, I'm using this and very like it so maybe you should try out

One more cry on that. Tired of browsing after pressing Ctrl+F and showing the search bar. And it's not site related, once it work, once it's not

Does anyone else have problems with fullscreen video playback on a G-Sync monitor?
Previously to the Chromium 50 update the framerate wasn't adaptive when the video was set to fullscreen, but now apparently it is and my monitor only refreshes at 24 or 30 Hz. This doesn't happen in other browsers. Can anybody else with a G-Sync monitor confirm this? Any YouTube video works for me to reproduce the bug.PS: Just found out, that this behavior even happen, when i set the browser to fullscreen without a video playing via the F11 key. It's pretty bad. The monitor is barely updating this way because the content is never changing.
Something must have changed how the browser is set to fullscreen and how the nVidia driver is detecting it as a fullscreen application. It seems to be a true full screen application now whereas other browsers are maximized borderless windows.

What does that mean "Vivaldi will be rebuilt for the stable update stream before it is released"? Does it mean that they'll keep putting in fixes for the stable release, or it'll be the same as this snapshot if no major issues occur?

Now I can create new folders on bookmarks window. Many thanks! But the nickname I can't. I write it down, press 'Enter' and it disappears… This is happening both with new folders and existing ones.
Besides that, when you select a folder which you want to have a subfolder into and click to create it, when you put its name and press 'Enter', it moves to main tree of bookmark folders. It was meant to that subfolder stay there where it should be (inside its main folder). Then I have to always drag the created folder to referred main folder... Please fix this.

Thanks for the fix for VB-16295!

Means it would be the same or nearly the same. But being built as a "stable" version will cause it to be identified as an update by the existing stable version on your machine.
