Snapshot 1.0.435.5 - Closing in on a final
We are closing in one our first stable release shortly, so here is another update with better data import support (including passwords protected by master password in Opera 12), a fix for bookmarklets and more. See the changelog below for the full details.

With so many bugs I hope you won't rush to final.

alt-enter in address bar please.
Any software as complex as a browser will contain some issues. Opera 12 was not bug free and yet it was enjoyed by millions. Are you using Vivaldi as your main browser already? What issues do you feel holds it back from being labelled as final?

Can you tell us more about this? I have no really big problems on Ubuntu MATE 64 bit.

Same from here:
If your "pet bug" has not been fixed yet, don't worry at the rate we are going we may get to it soon!
Hope they are all fixed till then.
But I can tell you, my pet bug list becomes smaller and smaller with every snapshot.

Quick question .. have you been able to review the issue where Google Play Music won't play with Vivaldi, but it will with any other browser?
Thanks in advance.

Disabling and enabling again active sound icon on active tab causes closing of this tab.

I thought that Vivaldi, like other Chromium browsers, always kept the previous version's files after an update. Now after an update, there is still a folder with the previous version's number as its name in the Vivaldi\Application folder, but it's empty. Is that expected behaviour?

Twitter GIFs and video still don't work on OSX.

I know the issue, I know! The answer is: poor translations! (I mean tons of chromium strings. At least the most visible ones)
What twitter label as "GIFs"are almost never gifs. They re-encode them to be h.264 HTML5 videos to save space (but continue to write the label GIF next to them).
Is h.264 support working for you? Can you play the first video on http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html

Tabs of % Encoding URL ( excluding UTF-8 ) are not displayed after displaying other tabs.
e.g. http://wikiwiki.jp/?ѵ (EUC-JP )
Rather with so low performance…

I noticed something similar. the '%' character is 'not supported' in address field or what. (I mean I can't search anything containing % except the URL you mentioned)

Altough i use the browser as my main for quite some time now and I'm really looking forward to final, i hope the "drag and drop of tabs to the bookmarkpanel gets fixed before final!
Another one: VB-13160 seems to need further work: deleting a new speedialpage (that one generated via the + in the topbar on a speedialpage does not get the folder deleted in the bookmarks. vice verca, deleting this "Speedial-folder" in the bookmarks panel, does not delete it from the "top-bar" on a speedialpage, only deleting from trash does!
THX for your hard work!
It works for me. Which of the HTML5 audio tests work on http://hpr.dogphilosophy.net/test/ for you. Also which Operating System are you on (including the OS version).

I noticed this bug a few builds ago.
When I close multiple tabs with middle click I end up with two speed dial tabs.
