Snapshot 1.0.430.3 - Mouse gestures for Fast Forward and Rewind

One of the features I realized missing is "Reload every…" (automatic page reloading). Extensions that provide such functionality feel way too cluttered compared to how classic Opera did it.

No "fast forward" in mouse gestures after upgrade to latest build.
I'm hesitating to delete my profile - lot of customizations made would be lost.
SUGGESTION: When the dialog is opened to add bookmark, please focus by default not on SAVE button, but on the dropDownBox listing folders. More often than not, folder need to be selected prior save.

Open a new tab. Paste this URL http://www.smn.gov.ar/?mod=pron&id=4&provincia=Entre Ros&ciudad=Gualeguaych
That page hangs Vivaldi tab inmidiately.
Vivialdi 1.0.430.3 32 bits, Windows 7 64bits.

Odd. Continues to work just peachy for me [other than the tedious geo-blocking anti-VPN war NF continues to wage]. Linux Mint x64 17.3 KDE.

I've still got the annoying thing where hitting the spacebar on a full screen Youtube video doesn't stop/start the video, it jumps to the next one. Which is kind of irritating because it's a bit of a reflex so I keep doing it. Any chance of a fix when the team come back to work?

No problem here on 32-bit Vivaldi on Windows 7 64-bit.

Hmm, strange. I'm using Viv x64 (on Win 7). Maybe it's that.

Since the latest snapshot (430.3) was installed last week there is a noticeable slowing down of my system each time I use Vivaldi . ASUS X550c running Linux Mint Mate 17.3. When I run top I find that there are at least 4 entries for Vivaldi even though I have only 1 or 2 tabs open. The tab running Youtube is using +/- 46% of my CPU, The other entries under top use an additional +/-25, 18, 13% respectively. That leaves very little for everything else. Even Firefox, open at the same time with 10 tabs, and also running one youtube video barely registers 2% CPU and its total memory usage is half that of Vivaldi.
Last time I ran top Firefox used more CPU and memory. Has this something to do with the new snapshot?

Happend to me as well. I had a different UI Language (german) -> Switching to english (&reload Browser) brought the entry, it was still there after switching back to german

Smooth scrolling on a long web page has a weir ripple effects when scrolling down. Chrome and Edge seem working fine.

There is one bug with the address bar on W10-64; V32 which is the worst I have ever seen since browsers were born and it is driving me crazy. When I am doing development I have to submit a form on my local server like a billion times and reload (either by shortcut key, or clicking on a button or even copy and using "paste and go") does not work. It is the most annoying bug I have ever seen in a browser. Not sure why it has gone undetected for so long.

I don't think this is related to Linux. I use Win7 here, and UI wise, both Chromium and Opera are much faster than Vivaldi on my laptop. IE and Firefox is faster too.
Anyway, the good thing is that it's getting better each version. I hope someday Vivaldi's UI performance gets as fast as Chrome's.

Not sure if this is actually a bug, but opening an incognito/private* window and straight away typing in the address I get two letters in before they are erased and I am presented with a blank bar.
The two letters then appear in the suggestions beneath as a potential search.
Win 7 64, Vivaldi 32
*Why are there two names for the same thing? ['Incognito' is an option from the taskbar, 'Private' from V | [u]File.] Are they the same, or is one subtly different from the other?
We can't reproduce this bug. Would you please file a bug report here vivaldi.com/bugreport so we can look into it? Thanks!
You're most welcome! It's already possible to close a tab when right clicking on it (check the last three options at the bottom of the list)
Hard to reproduce this issue with so little information. Would you please help us further by filing a bug report here: vivaldi.com/bugreport ? Thanks in advance for helping us further!
Thanks for sharing all these great insights! Pages can be zoomed up to 300% when using the zoom bar at the right bottom of the window. Also it is possible to search in settings (see the field on the top left above all the settings sections). We hope it helps
Sorry for the trouble! Are you using Citrix app from chrome web store?
So sorry for the trouble. We're looking into it!

I came across this behavior not only when opening private windows but in every tab when I opened it and started to type immediately.
The reason why I never reported this was because this only happened on my heavy underpowered netbook - and when I waited a few second before typing this didn't happen any longer so it thought that the process for the new tab have to start completely first.
So maybe this is what is happening when you open a private window - does this appear when you open a window and wait a bit before you start typing?
