Snapshot 1.0.377.10 - Three days work and twenty two more fixes
-
I can't find any information on what discard page actually does. It's all very well putting all these options into Vivaldi, but how are we supposed to find or understand them without any context? We're not all O12 veterans here.
-
I have always had this behavior in speed dial, running on Linux. I thought this was intentional from some reason, but I suppose not - it is a bug!
-
mehh, isn't fixed for me
bookmarks file is as big as before. I looked in it and there's a section beginning with "other" and after this there're the deleted bookmarks -
I don't remember reading it in the logs, but I'll tell you what it does. Right click on a tab and you'll see the option "discard page". Great for other tabs you want to keep inactive and frozen.

Yes, once Vivaldi gets monetized and releases their final versions and their mobile version, I hope they expand enough that they can start to contribute some hardcore code into the Chromium base and actually make it a great engine like I hear Presto was! Their slogan should be "Make Web Browsing Great Again!", lol.

–incognito
will do

I realize more and more that I'm seriously missing a feature from Opera 12 - when you search for text in the page, you can just hit "Enter" to open a link inside the matched text. Is this coming to Vivaldi?
-
Yeah it gets better, when you are used to it. I still think, there should be an option.
-
"VB-7705 Zooming when clicking on ⌘ after scrolling with touchpad"
Happens a lot less, now, but can still happen (assuming inertial scrolling is on for the mouse and/or the trackpad in "System Preferences > Accessibility > Mouse & Trackpad > [Trackpad|Mouse] Options…").
-
I'm just hoping the view notifications bug will be fix…I click it and it crashed...
-
Are you talking about the BOOKMARK button in the main menu ?
-
ive never received a mail about changing bug priority or merging and i reported at least 20 bugs already, i bet i reported at least one that should be merged …
-
Just use it as is, it's not like a software needs a "stable" label in order to be stable, no?
I'm using the snapshot releases since they were available and apart from a few exceptions it was pretty stable either way.
