Vivaldi launches its first beta
-
Hi everyone,
We are very excited to announce that Vivaldi Beta is released for download today. With the first technical preview launch back in January this year, we set out to develop a web browser that was fast, powerful and customizable, for power users around the world.
-
Well done. It will by may main browser as soon as sync function will be avalibale.
-
i'm begging you for attachable dev tools
-
Bag: cant delete bookmarks.
-
Congrats to the Vivaldi team. Really looking forward to what the future brings for the browser.
-
Is there any plans about making extensions work during thumbnails generation (for Speed Dial)? Currently thumbnails will show ads for instance even though they are most likely blocked by an extension
-
Waiting for the second beta with M3. :p
Congrats, great work. -
and please add suppport of whatsapp web
-
It's a technically complex and difficult task - either attaching two different kinds of windows, or building dev tools its own Vivaldi-style window. I am sure they will work on it.
-
It should work but they are blocking our user agent
-
Congrats!!. Not much of a beta user. But im making this an exception
-
Where and how are you trying to delete them? Works fine here.
-
Congrats and thanks for great work!
Do you plan to add search suggestion in address field like Chrome, Opera and Firefox beta?
-
Hooray and congratulations!
-
Congratulations!
-
Thanks for the great work team!
-
Do we have hope for Dragonfly?
-
Yeah, that's my number one missing feature, too. Can't make Vivaldi my main browser without it. Especially as none of the Chrome extensions for customising this behaviour is working.
-
No major changes, just packaging.
-
Dragonfly is a Presto product - a code base that Vivaldi does not have a license for. If they are to have a developer utility with has similar functionality, they will have to write it from scratch to work with Chromium.
