Snapshot 1.0.257.3 - Visual tab cycler and better cookie management
-
Ok, server cache should be completely purged now, so you should start getting a proper build. Would you mind trying again?
-
It always crashes after second start-up. I'm using Yosemite 10.10.4 in a Macbook Air, so it is impossible to use. I create a topic in the forum where I pasted the Error Log:
https://vivaldi.net/en-US/forum/vivaldi-browser-for-mac/4653-crash-after-second-start
Thank you. -
Oh, that isn't nice at all. It is bad enough that I'll update the known issues. Thanks for the report.
-
This snapshot feels a great amount faster and more responsive than the previous ones. Did you make any underlying performance improvements?
-
I saw a report on the 'can't seem to use right-click-scrolling to switch tabs if visual tab switching is enabled' just come in via our bug logging page. Perhaps that was you? if so thanks for the report.
With regards to quick commands, it works here on Linux. What platform are you on?

I noticed the same thing speed really picked up : thumbs up:
-
searching for "visual" in settings does not find new option
-
The problem is surely fixed after 14:42 (aka 2:42pm) Central Europe Time.

YES!

Remember this?
http://i.imgur.com/rS6rMDZ.jpgFew years later - NOT A SINGLE BROWSER EVER CAME CLOSE to this functionality of some old ancient browser.
That's just pathetic.

I have installed 1.0.257.3 on mac OSX (Japanese),but it shows menus and other items in English, not in Japanese! The previous 252.3 showed menus in Japanese.
-
"Update Thumbnail" on speed dial is not working (1)
Other strange behavior: I found that Ctrl++ and Ctrl+- not working (as well as Ctrl+mouse.wheel) (2)
I decided to set shortcuts by myself in settings. I found 'Zoom in' setting, press Ctrl++ and I've got a message: "Shortcut Ctrl+K is already assigned" (3) -
Here is bug with "Cycle Tabs Visually" feature: top panel is going down when scroll tabs by mouse with pressed Ctrl+Tab keys at the same time.
Absolutly clear profile, Win 10 x64, build 10525.

I'm shocked!!! Vivaldi was the coolest browser till this update came along. Now they implemented ROUNDED corners. I will look for a corner to cry in
-
Where is it? Can you make screenshot?
-
-
I don't have this problem, using Win 10 64bit.
BTW, Is it so that Vivaldi needs less memory to run if I choose `native window' in the appearance setting:?:? -
I'm not sure if this a bug or intended behavior:
-Move the mouse cursor to a position under the address bar [where the drop-down would be]
-Open a new tab with ctrl+t
-start typing a something that will produce a match int he drop-downIf the mouse is hovered over something in the drop-down, then text is automatically inserted into the address bar. Not still hilighted so you can continue typing, but the entire url is pasted in, so if you keep typing you end up appending text to the url.
