Snapshot 1.0.249.12 - Web Panels, Extension buttons UI, Progress bar info and tab performance improvements
-
BUG: After bookmarking a page the indicator doesn't change color.
-
This is the update that I was waiting for! Now with Extension UI icons, I can now finally ditch Chrome and use Vivaldi as my main browser!
-
Don't flame me if this was mentioned already tried reading all posts but didn't see anybody else having that problem.
Why shouldn't people flame you? All you have to do is search the page for "Flash"
Ctrl F is the default shortcut in Vivaldi. You can assign "/" if you enable single-key shortcuts.

BUG: Pressing enter key in 'Find in Page' does nothing.
edit: Oops! I didn't catch this earlier: VB-8141 Regression: find in page match case broken
-
Flicker? Not here. This must be on slower systems or something,

I thank you for such a NICE reply….I just forgot and searched that way before you made your comment. Some forget or get in a hurry. Also I gave more detail, it might have helped Vivaldi FAR more than your comment did, you could have just ignored it.

I hope not …
(ASUS Rampage V Extreme motherboard with an I7-5930K CPU, running with a 25% overclock and 64GB RAM)EDIT:
I have several folders in my speed dial. This happens when I quickly select different folders -
It tries to import opera 12.x notes as bookmarks.. which obviously doesn't work (but I see the notes directory structure appearing in the bookmarks panel).
Bookmark import (opera 12.x) only works if anything else is deselected (notes, passwords).. -
Would it be possible to include an option to select where new tabs open, either at the far right, as it does now, or next to the current tab?
-
Very beautiful! I love the extension buttons and the progress bar details! And I am excited to try out the web panels!
-
Or inside the current tab stack, yes. I second this request

I'm really liking the speedy improvements in this build. But I'm not sure I could say the same with the Mac version. Maybe it's just me but don't really notice speedups on my rMBP when opening/closing/switching tabs and even opening side bar panels. But web page loading/rendering performance really improved and speedy on both Windows and Mac. I'm also loving Web Panels! That's one way to avoid bloaty and buggy extension versions of some web apps. Perfect use with Keep and Pushbullet! Great work, guys! ^_^b

I depends on your UI zoom setting. Mine is at 80%, I have the same problem. If I set it to 100%, the popups are fully visible
-
Great build.
Two bugs with extension buttons:- They don't work with adress-bar at bottom (I think that they are displayed under the adressbar but that is out of the window when at bottom…)
- extension buttons popups are to small
-
Scrolled to all comments but missed your one. Sorry.
-
Extension buttons cannot be hidden.
-
left clicking bookmarks in bookmarks bar will be open them in foreground newtab since this snapshot, why is it so?
Is there any setting to change it back to old style?
-
Wow, thank you for the new snapshot. A lot of nice (new) features and bugfixes.
But I'm missing a feature (not only for me): Always open a new tab (from adress- and searchbar). Is this on your "future-feature-list" or "coming-soon-list"?
-
Confirmed bug: When you will drag and drop a tab to another monitor with video playing (YT) it will destroy other tabs' placement.
