Thanks for the snapshot. Remember me the https://operawatch.wordpress.com/2007/01/19/opera-spyware-edition-released/ 😃

The keyboard settings part of settings broke, theres just a button that says restore default keys.
Also clicking from display all to other stuff like Navigation or Appearance isn't working after the first switch and will keep on showing the part of settings you were previously on.

Feature like Search suggestions in the address bar would be very convenient. Hope to see this implemented soon.

same here. clicking outside doesn't make it go away either. the only way to turn it off is erasing the url.

Weird. Mine's doing fine. What's your platform? Do you have extensions?

This is not the same, we dont collect what features are used etc, we merely count users 🙂

Up and running again now after a clean reinstall, but why so many processes? I have one extension and three tabs open.

                    Windows 7 64-bit, 32-bit Vivaldi.

This is something you actually need to notify to Panda about, rather than Vivaldi. The developers cannot do anything about false positives from anti-virus vendors.

After clicking the restore default, everything seems to work correctly now…

Even after closing the browser there are 19 process still running.

Too busy this week to mess about. Maybe next time.

                            • importing bookmarks still cause the import pop up window to hang for a long time.
                            • I noticed my import list include vivaldi
                            • import list doesn't appear in alphabetically order
                            • when importing opera 15+, does it import speed dials as well?
                            • I set my import boomark as my bookmark bar and alot of the subfolders in it appear greyed out and couldn't be clicked

The middle button on SD is still broken (a relatively minor annoyance) , and is still broken the quickreply on vbullettins forums bug (VB-5453 is my report number), and that's less minor…

Weird, again. I wonder what extension? I have 11 tabs here and 13 processes. Maybe you have to scrub and start fresh. Lemme fire up the Win7 (32-bit unfortunately) and see what it does.

Vivaldi can also email them about it once it's confirmed. Don't say they can't do anything about it, it makes you look silly. 😃

E-mailing is not DOING something, and if an email is sent to one security vendor, it does nothing to alert other vendors. The user is responsible for the software on his machine, including the security software, and its proper and accurate operation. If my security software threw up a false positive, I would never dream of telling anyone but them. It's their screw-up. Complaining to the writers of the software that was falsely identified is a waste of time. They cannot re-write their software to make every Bayesian engine happy, nor should they try. Security software vendors need to quit fucking up the normal functioning of people's machines.

Can't help the knee-jerk reaction of Nuh-uh, even for a good cause. The collection of metrics alone (architecture, resolution, etc.) would be fine, but the unique ID is a red-flag, as it is currently unknown what would trigger it's re-generation (an update, a clean install, a restarted session?).

Beats me. My Win7 copy is humming right along. And with four tabs open and no extensions, I have seven processes - just as I would expect.
