Feature request:
Can you add a long press right click mouse button menu like in 360 browser?
Here it is an image: http://i.imgur.com/0yu2NbQ.jpgHow it work?: If I Long press the right click mouse button anywhere. Show up a circle menu with:
- Exit Browser button
- Go to Home Page button
- Go to Speed Dial button
- Go to Extensions button
- Go to Bookmarks Manager button
- Go to Flags or Power user options button
- Add page to Speed dial button
- Add page to bookmarks button
- Add page to "I read later" Or save page button
- Browser menu button (Like V button)
- Browser settings menu button
- Delete Browser history button
- Go to Top of the page and go to bottom of the page
Or add an options menu, that user defined what buttons are show in the circle menu.
Copy, paste, paste and go … and with more options. It is a good idea?

Marvelous Idea! I believe 4 to 8 functions would be enough, and letting the user select how many function between those 4-8 would be available is a must.

Yes, i like your idea. Perhaps this could be a replacement for the classic right click context menu. For Example: If you right click (
long) on a link or a picture, the relevant entries are shown in this design.
By the way: i would prefer a square design -
to be fair they have never said that we will be getting new build every Monday. They said they are going to give us (at least) 1 build a week and mostly it will be on Monday.
-
It's a UNIX OS, not Linux, but yeah gestures aren't working.
-
what? it's already possible AFAIK in this build. @AltWouss
(I grouped tabs, hit the tile icon in the statusbar and tile it as I want without previous tiling using RMB/context menu) -
… right click ... relevant entries ... square design ... sounds exactly like a context menu to me.

What's the "progress bar" displaying at all? I currently have a very intermittent internet connection, with many files failing to load.
Whenever a new url is entered, the progress bar raises quickly about to halve of the with, then slows down to halve speed until 3/4, then again slows to halve speed, ad infinitum. Regardless of what is loaded, as it seems.
Click on another tab and return to the first one, the progress bar starts anew. Again and again. Reload, the same. Please dear developers: Vivaldi users are not stupid, showing a "progress bar" that is merely a counter of seconds is useless. Please display something like "16 of 150 files loaded" if you cannot receive the size of the files upfront.
The advantage is that you can really see what a page is actually loading (yes, the second number will likely increase as the page loads), and you can see if the last object is "hanging" (which is then likely a stupid advertizing page on an overloaded server :-))

to me it's like mouse gestures (true is that I tried mouse gestures ONLY in old Opera and that this 360 browser has never been discovered by me)
-
Yes, context menu with a graphic ui
I did some brainstorming with paint.net. See here: http://fs1.directupload.net/images/150414/xw5cysd9.jpg -
better to do it as a "visual mouse gestures" (something like old Opera has but with UI like 360 browser has).
It's like controls for everything only using your RMB and moving cursor… even better if one could configure it (not like nowadays mouse gestures when it's RMB+down for a new tab no question asked and no visual UI etc...) -
As I noted in the previous snapshot, gestures have not worked for me on OS X 10.9 for several versions now.
-
crossing fingers for HiDPI!
-
Can you elaborate?
-
Feature Request :
- Close Tabs to the Right
- Close Tabs to the Left
-
Your Suggestion was available back in Opera 12.x and in the Feature Request Poll…
This is a really needed feature and would help me as well since my Internet Connection is not fast enough and knowing how many files have been loaded and how many files remain is more useful than a Progress Bar which sometimes doesn't stop loading (My Internet is Blocked for some domains and some resources never load... even some CDNs are blocked).
The Opera 12.x Status Bar was Awesome...

Can you give a link to Download it, i think i gonna be pleased

I'm not sure if FB has a translator or random words generator… Anyway, there is tons of plugins for google page translator. I personally hate that feature and I would disable it ASAP.
Anyway, FB has a translator for comments. How would you like translator to be implemented? (what should it translate?)

I'd like to ask for window borders, I seldom use full size windows and often multiple windows stacked in various ways and without the borders it becomes impossible to see where one window ends and another starts.
I know "flat" is all the rage now but from a usability standpoint it's amazingly bad in many instances, the window border issue being one of them. -
Could I humbly suggest a few items for the to-do list?
- When typing in the URL field, by default suggest the last (good) result matching the string typed instead of grabbing whatever I may have bookmarked? If I wanted to go to the bookmarked URL, I'd click on the bookmark…
- A "Open in background tab" tab when right-clicking a URL.
- A "minimize tab" keyboard shortcut
- Option to get a "Save As" prompt when downloading a file.
- Full mouse gestures (like down-left, up-left) etc, and ability to associate/customize gestures with any keyboard shortcut
Getting those would really help me every day.
