Tab stack tiling, on demand plugins in tabs, more mouse gestures, better import and a more snappy UI

Also not working under windows 7 64bit

@renegeed:
Could you make it possible to turn some of the white interface to dark grey/black? Prefer it a lot that way, especially at night.
Yeah.. during the day its quite nice to see many colors, but at night its a bit uncomfortable, although still nevertheless okay.

What? How we can download it? can you show us an screenshot?
-
The ability to see two page side by side is great! The main issue is the need to horizontally scroll on some pages, but without a fit-to-width function I'm not sure what can be done about that.
The main problem for me is figuring out how to stack tabs on the first or second or third try. What invariably happens is that when I move one tab on top of the other, the one on bottom moves out of the way instead of letting me stack onto it. Maybe there's a knack to this – any suggestions?

I used the menu: Help->Check for updates …
-
I still can't get the .7 build. It insists I must have a username and password. I'm dyin' here…
-
Don't work now. It ask for user/pass.
-
ctrl+LMB to select tabs (hold ctrl and click LMB to tabs you want to stack) and than from context menu chose "new tab stack with selection".
But in general I have to admit (and I reported it many times) that one is just unable to group tabs by moving them over each other especially if tab bar is not at the bottom/top of the page but is placed on sides…

You will have to download manually, we are having som issues with the server. Sorry about that
-
You have a PM.
-
That happened two times for me. Then it suddenly downloaded the new version without any user/pass dialog!
-
Where/how can I download it manually?
-
Looks like it has been leaked by an error. You grabbed it, you're lucky!
-
If you want to do it by drag and drop make sure you grab the tab near to the edge of the direction you want to drag, not in the middle. This makes stacking easier.
-
It depends. I do not want MDI since it's window over window. I would like to "fit" selected tabs in positions. So just be able to adjust size of tile by "dragging" is more welcomed by myself than MDI
(again: it depends on every single user preference) -
Hmm. Well, THAT door has been slammed shut. 'Check for updates' now returns an indication that my 1.0.138.4 version is the latest. It must all be Helsten2's fault…
-
wow, i can change download foleder, thank you! But there is nothing about it in this post. Or i lost sight of it
-
you can do it since previous version so dig there then
edit: yeah, it's not mentioned there as well, but whatever. Important is that it's working -
For the on-demand plug-ins - so there is no Settings option yet to set-up it for the whole browser but only per tab, by Images button?
Tab stack tiling - nice! The first quick step into the MDI (Multi-document interface). I was not expecting such thing to be implemented that soon.

What we still need more is Vivaldi to ask us about the folder upon each download.
