Tab stack tiling, on demand plugins in tabs, more mouse gestures, better import and a more snappy UI
-
Oh, one other thing, it works fine with Chromium 41 on my 32-bit Debian Jessie and has worked on my previous 32-bit Debian Wheezy. Got a source to cite?
-
Install of 1.0.138.7 worked fine (no username / password dialog. I saved my forum login in the browser, maybe thats the reason).
The "Tile tab stack" function looks good. I like the improvements from ahoj1234. It would be better with it.
The only thing i miss, is an easy way to expand a tab stack. So i can easily work with the tabs like they are normal. -
My CPU begs me to kill it when I try to use Vivaldi…
however, the Tile feature is cute, but MDI is a lot better, you know
posted with my glorious Opera 12

I completely agree. Like in O12, coz hovering over tab stack with mouse cursor seems redundant.
-
We will look into it
-
Yeah we are still working on it, you shouldn't see the installer dialog. Will be fixed
-
64 bit Debian Jessie has no flash still.

„Mouse gestures work again now …()“
Not working under Linux Debian 64 bit with new profile…
-
Love the new, new tab page
-
… and now I can see the colors in the inactive tabs on the left - not just grey-scale. Much better
Win7x64 Vivaldi 1.0.138.7 -
Tried again and now it worked. No User-Id or Password dialog.
So what is new in 1.0.138.7 :?: -
… and I also seem to have mail. Is it working?
-
Also not working under windows 7 64bit
-
@renegeed:
Could you make it possible to turn some of the white interface to dark grey/black? Prefer it a lot that way, especially at night.
Yeah.. during the day its quite nice to see many colors, but at night its a bit uncomfortable, although still nevertheless okay.

What? How we can download it? can you show us an screenshot?

The ability to see two page side by side is great! The main issue is the need to horizontally scroll on some pages, but without a fit-to-width function I'm not sure what can be done about that.
The main problem for me is figuring out how to stack tabs on the first or second or third try. What invariably happens is that when I move one tab on top of the other, the one on bottom moves out of the way instead of letting me stack onto it. Maybe there's a knack to this – any suggestions?

I used the menu: Help->Check for updates …
-
I still can't get the .7 build. It insists I must have a username and password. I'm dyin' here…
-
Don't work now. It ask for user/pass.

ctrl+LMB to select tabs (hold ctrl and click LMB to tabs you want to stack) and than from context menu chose "new tab stack with selection".
But in general I have to admit (and I reported it many times) that one is just unable to group tabs by moving them over each other especially if tab bar is not at the bottom/top of the page but is placed on sides…
