Tab stack tiling, on demand plugins in tabs, more mouse gestures, better import and a more snappy UI

Could you, only, please disable those annoying tab previews? Or make them optional?
You can disable it in Options

Running the 32-bit version on Debian Jessie (8.0) 32-bit, but the mouse gestures still don't work for me. Tried with a fresh profile (renamed ~/.config/vivaldi-snapshot/Default), but still no-go.

~~"Check for update" issue:
When checking for update it behave as a internal channel and offers update to "Version 1.0.138.7" (sure, I tried to update :D)a dialogue about Vivaldi's username and password showed up (which some might break and hack your internal servers?)~~
edit: someone was faster with a report -
ah, you were faster than me with reporting

Also, the 32-bit Linux version still doesn't pick up the PPAPI Flash plugin. Tried with a fresh profile, too.

Wow tile tab stacks is great! Keep up the great work, guys!
I love the new start page design for Speed Dials. -
The PPAPI pepperflash plugin is not intended to work with Linux 32bit . It is for 64bit only.
-
Thanks sailormax!!

This build does not "see" pepperflash plugin in Linux Mint 17 64bit.
-
It worked before on the 32-bit version.
-
Oh, one other thing, it works fine with Chromium 41 on my 32-bit Debian Jessie and has worked on my previous 32-bit Debian Wheezy. Got a source to cite?
-
Install of 1.0.138.7 worked fine (no username / password dialog. I saved my forum login in the browser, maybe thats the reason).
The "Tile tab stack" function looks good. I like the improvements from ahoj1234. It would be better with it.
The only thing i miss, is an easy way to expand a tab stack. So i can easily work with the tabs like they are normal. -
My CPU begs me to kill it when I try to use Vivaldi…
however, the Tile feature is cute, but MDI is a lot better, you know
posted with my glorious Opera 12

I completely agree. Like in O12, coz hovering over tab stack with mouse cursor seems redundant.
-
We will look into it
-
Yeah we are still working on it, you shouldn't see the installer dialog. Will be fixed
-
64 bit Debian Jessie has no flash still.

„Mouse gestures work again now …()“
Not working under Linux Debian 64 bit with new profile…
-
Love the new, new tab page
-
… and now I can see the colors in the inactive tabs on the left - not just grey-scale. Much better
