Technical Preview 2 is here!

I'm still getting the dual stand-alone Vivaldi icons in the taskbar as well (Win7-64 SP1, 32-bit Vivaldi). In any case, it's certainly a very minor annoyance…!
But on a different note, I'm finally able to post directly into these comments with my stand-alone install (I put the TP2 stand-alone into a completely new location, so either it was something in the earlier versions, or something corrupted in the original TP1 install that carried into its updates)!
On the other hand, i still can't get downloads to appear anywhere on the system - they start out in the download folder with a stub file while downloading is occurring, but at the end of the download, they completely disappear off the system. I'm wondering if this has to do with how Vivaldi copes with Windows UAC issues (though the same thing happens in both my admin and limited user accounts) or the protection Windows tries to employ regarding downloading unknown executables. FWIW, I have no such problems with other browsers on the same system, including a stand-alone Presto Opera version (12.14).

Does anyone else see the new Speed Dial with logo? I like what I'm seeing.

do you mean a place to report bugs? here's the bug report page

CTRL+F4 can close a pinned TAB. Is it by design? I'd rather disable CTRL+F4 on pinned tabs, so that I'd need to unpin them, before closing them.

Developer Tools and Task manager windows look like Google Chrome, for the sake of consistency, can you update such windows in the future builds?
-
I can even use Ctrl+Shift+V (Paste and go)

Thank you, testing!
Any ETA on Vivaldi Email? -
Middle-click to open in background tab is intended, and is the proper action in all browsers. Right-click "open in new tab) focuses the new tab.

can't confirm the 1st issue (always heard never notice the 2nd issue). tried it couple of times.
W8.1 x64 this x32 build. -
Installing/updating over existing installations still needs work. Some of the changes and updates are not reflected or does not work unless you do a clean install.
-
If you guys want more peopel to migrate over from other browsers, you need to make importing much more easily. You need to support more browser imports e.g chrome, firefox, opera 15+ etc, not just opera 12

I was talking about something like bugzilla. In bugzilla we can see who's working on it, is it closed, rejected or marked as wontfix.
-
Yes… This is not fixed on my system too : Windows 8.1 x64
-
Thanks, but it is not enough.
We need a real ads-block. -
I actually asked about this some time ago. The reason is that a public bug tracker is like an open kitchen. It's a nice thing for visitors as they can watch while they are waiting, but it's more stressful for devs, too, since they obviously can be watched at any time. The team just doesn't feel comfortable doing so right now. But some improvements are planned already like emails to reporters on status changes. Stay tuned
