slow video playback
-
On for example http://www.cnbc.com/top-video/ video is played at slow speed.
The ad preceding the video is played normally.
this is both on snapshot and stable.Adobe Flash Player - Version: 24.0.0.194
Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 -
Mmh works fine for me - videos are playing in normal speed.
But I don't have flashplayer installed - so you might check how it works for you when you turn off flashplayer

@zaibon
Thanks, but with flash disabled the problem persists. -
@esmeral I tried the "Top Video" on both US and INTL pages, both played (for me) with no problems.
Note: I don't see any ad before the video (I guess uBlock extension is stopping that).
Is your problem ONLY with CNBC videos?
Just wondering if playing with hw acceleration settings would help.
Might be worth having a look at vivaldi://gpu to see if there are any red flags in the first area ( Graphics Feature Status ). -

I can replicate this, voice is played slowed at half speed.

@iAN-CooG Is it same problem as in
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/13723/i-heart-radio-sounds-like-it-s-in-slow-motion-and-garbled -
@TbGbe I can't verify, nothing on that iheartradio works for me in Vivaldi, at least I don't know if it works outside USA. But I have no problem on any other video or audio site in Vivaldi, whatsoever.
-
@iAN-CooG Oh. I'm not in US either, but as you could also had this problem I thought you might be.
Still the problem description sounds the same.Have you checked vivaldi://gpu
If everything looks OK then you could write a bug report (as OP has given up). -

That is the only difference to my settings (using Nvidia Gpu)
mine is Video Decode : Software OnlyMaybe there is strange detection in the site script(s) ??
