Vivaldi plus uMatrix plus Ebay Website = crash
Vivaldi version doesn'r matter
This Ebay Website:
Icon of uMatrix cannot be activated, to enable or disable anything.
CPU gets very busy, the CPU fan go faster and faster, because the CPU heat increases.
Trying to close Vivaldi has the result that Vivaldi needs very long time to close.
Disabling uMatrix --> no problem with this ebay website
Same procedure in Firefox plus uMatrix: no problem

@Michael_from_Germany -- Guten Tag Michael. At the risk of you thinking i am trivialising, & with me admitting this is a workaround not a solution, could you consider replacing uMatrix with uBlock Origin?

@Steffie they are not the same but complementary

The page seem just fine on Linux/Debian, last night Vivaldi + uMatrix.
No CPU spike at all.
Any change your Anti Virus/Malware or other extensions trigger this?
@dLeon "Disabling uMatrix --> no problem with this ebay website" and "Same procedure in Firefox plus uMatrix: no problem"
@Steffie: I use both because they are not the same.

Yes, I know.
I mean, either uMatrix on/off I see no problem on my system.
Here's my tailored default uMatrix +
All hosts file supscriptions.
* * cookie block * * css allow * * frame block * * image allow * * other block * * plugin block * * script block * * xhr block * 1st-party cookie allow * 1st-party css allow * 1st-party image allow * 1st-party other allow * 1st-party plugin allow * 1st-party script allow * 1st-party xhr allow
Above is a bit different from default uMatrix. I just split them for easy maintenance.
ebay.de ebay.com script allow ebay.de ebaydesc.com frame allow ebay.de ebaydesc.com script allow ebay.de ebaystatic.com script allow ebay.de i-ways-network.org script allow ebay.de i-ways-network.org xhr allow
Forgot to tell; I also use both uMatrix + uBlock0.
For uBlock0 I disable Easylist + hosts file subscription. Hosts file will redundant and Easilist ia heavy plus I don't care about non tracking ads.
