HTML5 MP4 issues
I'm having issues playing videos on this website: http://picarto.tv which uses HTML5 MP4 for playback. Videos will not play. I had a brief period of an hour where it worked, but it soon stalled up and I was back to having no content playing. I was under the impression Vivaldi supports HTML5, so I am not sure how to remedy this?
I can confirm that not everything works
the green play buttons don't react.
In firefox it automatically plays the videos
In devtools console:
VIDEOJS: ERROR: (CODE:4 MEDIA_ERR_SRC_NOT_SUPPORTED) The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported. MediaErrorcode: 4message: "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported."proto: Object
logByType @ video.min.js:10
The video player videojs on picardo.tv fails.
Please report this as a bug to Vivaldi.
How to do a bugreport for Vivaldi:
Please describe as precisely as you can and report the bug at https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/.
You will get a bug confirmation mail and in a reply to this mail you can add more information and files as attachments for the testers and bug tracking team.
Thanks in advance.
I got my mail back from bugreport, created issue VB-25135
@iAN-CooG Thanks for report.
I confirmed the bug.
Fixed in latest snapshot apparently, or picarto fixed their streams, it works for me at least now
Yes, works in 1.6.689.40 and 1.7.735.11
I think picardo fixed their servers.
Picarto told me "We looked into the Vivaldi browser and changed the default player for it to HLS. It should work now.
Please let us know if the issue is still there."
So yeah, fixed on their end.
