Option to Place Find Toolbar at Bottom
This would stop the page content from being displaced, which can cause one to lose one's reading position.
-
Contextual Notes
When clicked, a note brings you to the location on the page from whence it is derived.
-
Note Location Indicator
When hovered over, a colored line shows up that connects the note to the word with which it is associated on the page, assuming you are on the page to which it belongs.
-
Colorize and Iconize Notes for Improved Organization and Ease of Use
Give the option to assign colors and icons to notes.
-
Page Down/Up Should Scroll by One Screen
Old Opera (11.64 IIRC) used to work like WordPad, Notepad, WordPerfect, etc., with the last line on the screen becoming the first line on the screen after using PageDown. Vivaldi suffers from the same issue. The last line on the screen becomes the third line on the screen, making it harder to read long pages of text.
The screen shots are from Jarte (a WordPad clone), and show some text in a short window before/after using page down.
-
Export Options for Notes
Add some export options that allow people to get the notes out into other software. This is one of the main reasons I'm hesitant about using the Notes feature in Vivaldi; I don't want to run the risk of not being able to transfer my content easily into software like OneNote.

The re-open closed tabs with Ctrl+Z in the same order as they were, as it happens with the middle mouse button on the Recycle Bin and not as far right.
-
@elypter It has never been much of a problem in Opera 12.17. Most images that users want to save are not image links, which are usually on thumbnails. One clicks the thumbnail to view the full image, then saves the full-sized image. I don't know why Opera used Ctrl+Click instead of Alt+Click, but that's what Opera users are accustomed to using.

Bookmarks menu, like we have on every other major browser, including a Bookmarks menu on the macOS menu bar.

This is a rather bold request... What do you think about a release with NO new features, with a pure focus on improving security and stability, code clean-up, and getting back in sync with the Chromium release calendar?
-
@PixelatedPirateShip So I think, too. Quite surprised that something like this has not been implemented long ago

I can imagine something like that happening after 2.0, when sync/mail has been released. Probably not now though.

Middle click to open new tabs

Code cleanup is a continuous and ongoing project. Adjustments to "what to include" and the development schedule are always made to keep pace with Chromium releases. There is always a lag due to the permanent necessity to a) patch Chromium to work with Vivaldi and b) patch Vivaldi to work with the new Chromium.
