Highlight button in Inspect Mode
Hi, I just wanna say that I like this browser very much, its very handy.
There is one thing that I'v been trying to find, but in vain, so that is why I write this post.
I work as a web developer and I use Firefox, and in the inspection mode one can click a button next to the class element to highlight it, which is really handy.
In Vivaldi you can hover the element and it gets highlighted, but Id really wanna find that button, to toggle highlight on an element, we dig?
The button to activate this is on top-left of Dev Tools.
Ctrl+Shift+C enables your wanted feature quickly.
@Gwen-Dragon Oh thank you so much! Been looking for this!
Have a great day!
@Gwen-Dragon Hi again, that is not what I ment, I know how to search element and inspect it, I wanna toggle highlight on an element, like permanent toggle like in Firefox Inspection mode
@ArnarValur Ah, ok i misunderstood. You want to hilight CSS styles. Was not clear for me.
Such feature like in Mozilla is sadly missing in Vivaldi Developer Tools.
@Gwen-Dragon Thanks for the reply, maybe that could be a good idea for future updates?
Does the Vivaldi team take such suggestions?
It would be an awesome feature for developing in Vivaldi browser, would really make it
@ArnarValur Sadly such features must be made by Chromium developers in Developer Tool's code.
You can make such request at for Developer Tools of Chromium at https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/list
@Gwen-Dragon Thanks for the reply
Oh damn, okey...! Ill try to take the highway !
Thanks for the information
