About the "description" - bookmarks
-
I noted one of the bookmarks options is the "known" Description option. I would like to know: - Does it identify any description site? I mean, when I add a site that has any description, this will be identifed automatically: (For example, I added the "Facebook", if you search it in Google you will have the description "Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them...". That description will be identified when you add "Facebook" into bookmarks? - If you import O12 bookmarks, will they come with the descriptions too? And I would like to thank all Vivaldi Staff for including that feature, that's important for me, I like to do some notes for some bookmarks, and this helps me to search the url I want to. :side:

1. No, it will not be added as description
2. Yes, it will be imported (and the nicknames as well)

Some web pages include a description in the headers - if you bookmarked the page in Presto, it would grab this info and include it.
I have a dozen bookmarks of different Flickr photostreams. every one of them has a description of
Flickr is almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing application in the world. Show off your favorite photos and videos to the world, securely and privately show content to your friends and family, or blog the photos and videos you take with a cameraphone.
I'm presuming Vivaldi will do the same … but you have to actually be on the page for that to work (bookmarking a link will not load the page to read the description).
