[Bug report] [New Private Window] command; [Tile Tab Stack] shortcuts
-
Hi,
I turned to Vivaldi just since 1.4.589.38, and now is running:
1.5.658.3 (Standalone).
(Win 7 x86).Here are some of the issues I encountered:
The [New Private Window] command is not working for me.
And the 3 [Tile Tab Stack]
shortcuts
are not working:
Tile Tab Stack Vertically
Tile Tab Stack Horizontally
Tile Tab Stack to Grid
Though the [Untile Tab Stack] shortcut, and the 4 buttons in [Page Tiling] of the status bar, they all work fine.Did I miss something?

Same Vivaldi version:
Ctrl-Shift-N (New Private Window) works for me.Tile TAB stack -
Vertically (Ctrl-F9)
Horizontally (Ctrl-F8)
Grid (Ctrl-F7)Do not work for me either.

Finally found the reason:
Settings: Tabs:New Tab Page
▲ If this option is set withchrome://history/
orvivaldi://history/
, the [New Private Window] will never open.
I think this is a bug.By the way,
vivaldi://history/
should do the same aschrome://history/
, shouldn't it?
However, if set inNew Tab Page
, the pages open are different at the top.

@vias nice finding, seems the 2 urls act differently, with chrome://history/ first the speeddial page (empty) opens then the history page opens. with vivaldi://history/ the history page opens directly, it's easily visible by switching with ctrl-tab
