[WISH] toggle address bar ON and OFF, while in fullscreen mode
-
I wish I could toggle the address bar ON and OFF, while in fullscreen mode, with a shortcut key (used to be CTRL+F8, a long ago, if I'm not wrong), but the option is not even available in the keyboard cheat sheet (CTRL+F11). CTRL+F8 would be a nice default. whoelse? newscpq

You can assign whatever you want to it (I use Shift F8), but it does not work in fullscreen mode.
Try F2 in fullscreen mode. That does work to show the Quick Commands dialogue, where you can enter a URL.

but the option is not even available in the keyboard cheat sheet (CTRL+F11).
It is on the cheat sheet - View/Address Bar
Note: I changed it to Ctrl-Shift-U in Tools/Settings/Keyboard and this toggle works for me in Full Screen using Vivaldi 1.5.633.16

It is on the cheat sheet - View/Address Bar
By default, no shortcut is assigned, so it does not appear on the Cheat Sheet.
I changed mine to Shift F8, but it does not show the address bar in Fullscreen mode, only in Chromeless mode.
It does work, in that after you exit fullscreen mode, the address bar is toggled off if you used the shortcut in Fullscreen mode to try to show it.

Oops, my apologies on two counts.

I didn't realise that there was no assignment by default (changed mine a few versions ago)

The toggle does NOT work in FullScreen Mode ( F11 ).
It does work using Vivaldi via Windows FullScreen control.

The point is that, while in Fullscreen mode:
- you can't see if the page has FAST FORWARD or REWIND options
- if you press CTRL+T, you can't paste CTRL+V a URL and load it (you need to press F2, before)
That is, as it is now, Fullscreen slows down navigation.
