Auto Hideable script by hekel isn't working correctly
-
#panels-container { position: fixed; height: 100%; max-width: 0vw; opacity: 0; z-index: 1; transition: max-width .5s cubic-bezier(0.18, 0.89, 0.32, 1.28), opacity .2s linear .2s; } #panels-container:hover { max-width: 99vw; opacity: 1; transition-delay: 0s; } .toolbar-addressbar { visibility: hidden; position: fixed; width: 100%; opacity: 0; z-index: 2; transition: opacity .3s linear .7s, visibility 0s linear 1s; } #header:hover ~ #main .toolbar-addressbar, .toolbar-addressbar:hover { visibility: visible; opacity: 1; transition-delay: 0s; }
You are about to read some bad English and I am really sorry about it I am not a native English speaker. above code is written by hekel but isn't really working correctly for example this is how it supposed to be working https://i.imgur.com/tcBtOMU.gif but now sidepanels doesn't appear at when the user hover over it and when the user hover over address bar it appears but the address bar box doesn't appear https://i.imgur.com/aC5ksaf.png

Hi Droyk_
I can't see anything wrong with that code, well, the address bar part is almost the same as what I use myself and it's perfect. I'll test out the panel part for you and report back with my findings.

Well Wiiija I am on 1.4.589.38 (Stable channel) (64-bit) and on this version address bar background box doesn't appear as you can see on this image https://i.imgur.com/aC5ksaf.png
sidepanel doesn't appear at all no matter how many times I hover over it!
-
.toolbar-addressbar { visibility: hidden; opacity: 0; z-index: 2; position: fixed; transition: all 700ms cubic-bezier(0.645, 0.045, 0.355, 1.000); } #header:hover ~ #main .toolbar-addressbar, .toolbar-addressbar:hover { visibility: visible; opacity: 1; transition-delay: 0.2s; }
Strange, that above is what I use and as you can see there is virtually no difference, I use the latest snapshot so it should work on the stable channel. I've yet to try the panel because I'm out at the moment but later I will.
Could any of your other custom css be messing about with it? seems like the most likely cause. -
Well now it become strange because I just removed hekel code and applied your code and it seem to be working only panels are not working
#panels-container { height: 100%; max-width: 0vw; opacity: 0; z-index: 2; position: fixed; transition: max-width .5s cubic-bezier(0.18, 0.89, 0.32, 1.28), opacity .2s linear .2s; } #panels-container:hover { max-width: 99vw; opacity: 1; transition-delay: 0s; } .toolbar-addressbar { visibility: hidden; opacity: 0; z-index: 2; position: fixed; transition: all 700ms cubic-bezier(0.645, 0.045, 0.355, 1.000); } #header:hover ~ #main .toolbar-addressbar, .toolbar-addressbar:hover { visibility: visible; opacity: 1; transition-delay: 0s; } ```So it's seems like it's a clear and cut code problem.

Great, give me 20 minutes and I'll get the panels working for you, don't use them myself but I'll see what I can do, could be as simple as the width setting.
Update
Well, I'm about to freak you out, it works perfectly as it is, make sure no other custom code is missing {} around it's general area, or email it to me to take a look for you.

I don't really have any custom code except the one we are talking about rightnow and I think on your side panel code is working because of you have alreday enabled side panels for more information see this video https://streamable.com/322u don't worry it's just a 19 second video
-
That's correct, the panels needs to be switched on for auto hide to work.
-
So the code worn't work if the panels are already deactivated if so then is there to see the deactivated sidepanel with the help of css or JS
