TED.com (flash) doesn't load video in HD [solved]
-
Although the video plays smoothly, it forever stays at the horrible 480p-like quality. (can't do anything about the streaming quality manually) It switches to HD almost instantly for me in Firefox. But not at all in Vivaldi. I'm on 1.4.589.38 (Stable channel) (64-bit)

Am i not in the right place?
Can somebody confirm at least?Real shame to have to switch browsers for this.

Well, I don't have an account but I loaded
http://www.ted.com/talks/how_simple_ideas_lead_to_scientific_discoveriesThis starts in 480 but I can switch it to HD.

On my Windows 10x64 Pro the ted.com video loads in 1080p HD.

Thanks guys, the problem was here indeed.
It turns out there are two versions of Flash:
NPAPI for Firefox
PPAPI for Chrome / Opera / VivaldiI only had the first one installed. Now i have both and it's working well it seems.
Get it here: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
