How do I open all bookmarks in a folder?
-
I just started trying to use Vivaldi as my main browser, so I'm still picking some things up. How do you open all items in a bookmarks folder? I'm assuming there has to be a way because there's a setting in the bookmarks menu to confirm when opening over a certain amount. What am I missing?

You can middle-click on any top-level folder on the bookmark bar or any folder at any level in the bookmark panel. You can also right-click and "open in…" from the context menu, same conditions.

Thanks, those ways seem to work. I was trying to open a second level folder from the bookmarks bar, didn't try anything with the panel. So is there any way to open all bookmarks in a non-top level folder on the bookmark bar?

Not yet. The bookmark bar code is not completely written yet.

It has been over a year now. I am a new user and this is one feature I really miss. It is not very convinient having to open the panel all the time, to access this.
So, how long will it take?

Another method is to assign a Nick Name to a folder using the panel. Then type the nickname in the URL field to open the entire folder. You can also type the nickname in the Quick Commands dialogue (Shortcut F2).
The developers don't give estimates of when features will be ready. The insiders might be able to say if they're actively working on it. I suspect that they are more concerned with getting Sync and Email finished first.

@pesala Thank you. That works perfectly.
