Open new tab without focus?

  • I've searched and searched settings and this forum and I can't seem to find out how to do something that I'm used to doing in Chrome. When I right click a link and select 'open in new tab' in Vivaldi, that new tab opens and the browser switches focus to that tab. In Chrome, when I do the same thing, the tab opens in the background - that is - the tab opens and the original tab stays in focus. Is there a way to make Vivaldi open new tabs without focus? If not, it would be a great feature to have. If so, can someone point me in the right direction, please?

  • Click with the middle button, CTRL+Click, contextual menu or a dedicated gesture are four different methods to open a background tab (they work in any modern browser and in Opera, and in most of tabbbed programs, say notepad++)
