Missing functions on red Vivaldi icon
-
The wee red V icon no longer seems to allow the Maximize, Minimize, Move and Close functions in Windows 10 (using Vivaldi 1.5.609.8 (Developer Build) (64-bit)).
-
You mean the icon on the taskbar? Works properly here.
-
The taskbar icon for the developer build is black, not red. He means the small red icon that is displayed when the Browser menu bar is displayed.
I can confirm the issue here: 32-bit Vivaldi on Windows 10 64-bit, but double-click to close still works OK.

Double Click closes the window.
Single should provide a drop-down for the functions mentioned above but nothing…

If you mean the vivaldi menu icon - it opens the menu for me.
Vivaldi 1.5.638.3 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Win 10 Pro 64 bit.If you mean the icon in the Windows Taskbar - right-click on that also works for me.
-
The Taskbar icon works fine. It is the Vivaldi menu icon that does not work (on this system:Win 10, i5, lots of RAM, new computer).
Even a double click does not close Vivaldi, right click does not give me the usual dialog to Maximize, Minimize, Move or Close which Alt + Spacebar gives.
-
OK - now I understand.
So you are simply saying Pesala's bug is not solved yet.
-
Actually at first Right Clicking the icon did not produce the expected menu. However Double Clicking DID close Vivaldi.
Now Double Click does not close Vivaldi (at least all the time). This seems to be intermittent… or possibly depends where on the icon space I double click. ???
So now the menu icon has no functionality. As I primarily use a laptop without a pointing device I'd just like the option to close from whichever corner the cursor is closest to.
