Is there any way to configure middle clicking or double clicking on a tab to hibernate that tab?

I constantly manually keep hibernating tabs, and it gets annoying to keep having to right click and click on hibernate. I've reordered the menu to have the relevant options closer, but it would great if it could be reduced to quicker operation.

Hi and no, they are hard coded.
Would it help if you would have an icon to hibernate background tabs, or do you want to hibernate only a single tab?

You can (as an alternative) set up a rocket gesture Settings -> Mouse to hibernate all background tabs with two clicks. I am not sure if this can work in a specific tab though. Maybe someone with better experience knows.

      Hi!
I already have a button setup to do trigger a chain command to -

      1. Hibernate all background tabs
      2. Hibernate all inactive workspaces (though I'm not sure if I really need this since in my testing I saw tabs in other workspaces also got hibernated through the hibernate all background tabs but can't hurt to keep it I guess)

However my workflow requires me to hibernate single tabs, while keeping some not hibernated. I was kind of expecting it to not be possible natively so I researched some other options, didn't get anything. So this was more of a "hail mary hope someone has a clever workaround" post haha.

      Anyway, thanks for the suggestion!

EDIT: My rough workaround for now is setting up a macro in Keyboard Maestro. If I Ctrl + Click (Mac) on a tab, it brings up the menu, and that is the trigger for KM to press the down arrow once (which brings it to hibernate tab) and press enter😂.

I hate it but it's less annoying than having to manually right click and do it each time so this is what I'm rocking until 🤞hopefully one day🤞 we can natively configure mouse click shortcuts👀

@fotistsouvelekakis Hey, thank you for the idea! I have a button & a shortcut setup to hibernate background tabs, so I don't need this for that.

Maybe I'll set it up for something else, thanks!
