I copy the existing files from the Stable version before I start the Snapshot.
The Web Data file seems to be getting corrupted for some reason.

Yes, sessions too but maybe you don't notice.
Just delete all in "Default" of the snapshot or backup it and then paste the content of the stable into the empty folder.
I guess this will cause issues sooner or later anyway, it's like downgrade to stable and then update to the next snapshot.
For testing it is OK but if you have an issue and nobody can reproduce it this could be the reason.

This has been probably reported multiple times, but every update the compact menu layout gets reset as it was not checked despite being checked in the settings (it's checked but the menus are with large spaces between items as it was unchecked), so I have to uncheck and recheck then restart each time it's updated. This happens since months.
          It happens on 3 pcs (2 win10, 1 win11) so I'm not seeing things.

Hi, I cant remember a report here or in the bug tracker.
As usual an extension can do this, "Perplexity" Change startup settings for example.
I will test this on my Windows 11 systems with snapshot and my internal build, it get updates several times a week.

            Cheers, mib

This was easy, both wasn't updated to the last version on my AMD system.
Updated and the setting is still compact.
On my laptop it was already set to compact in snapshot and soprano build.

This version of Bing search seems unable to work properly.

@DoctorG The new version of Vivaldi (7.2.3621.52) seems to have solved the problem of being unable to access Bing.
