Whole System freezes while playing video
-
Hello, Today I realised my System freezes when Vivaldi plays a video for like 20 to 30 seconds. I tested it on YouTube and Facebook (I think both are using HTML5 Videos). Tried it with FireFox and everything works fine. As System I use OpenSuse Leap 42.1. Any suggestions? Best regards ChrizZly

Hi, I am on Leap 42.1 too but had no problems last two days with 1.3.582.3 (Developer Build) dev (64-bit) or earlier.
I have Flash/Widevine disabled in plugins settings, iirc Youtube use Flash first then switch to HTML5.
Please add the Vivaldi version you use.Cheers, mib

Oh. Ye sure. My I use Vivaldi 1.3.551.38 (stable build) 64 bit.
I am pretty sure YouTube used HTML5 Player.
I right clicked the video and in the menu no flash player options where available . Instead there was available "About HTML5".I do have the problem since like today (maybe yesterday i had an update, but i didnt restarted Vivaldi).
cheers,

oh. I guess Flash was causing the problem. I can watch Videos on youTube now. On facebook cant. Facebook seems to use flash. Is there a way to fix the flash issue? I read somewhere disableing Hardware acceleration could help. Where can I do this? Didnt found the options on vivaldi. And Facbook dont show me any Flash Options.
