How will this affect Vivaldi?
Read this and not too concerned but was wondering how this affect Vivaldi in the future? http://www.techrepublic.com/article/google-killing-chrome-apps-for-windows-mac-and-linux-but-its-no-cause-for-concern/

It basically won't.
Google kills the apps, but not the extensions. The apps in the Chrome store are only links of webpages, nobody need this. If you need one of them (games or services online) bookmark them or paste them in the speed dial
Don't want to sound blunt/rude but…that's what I thought.
I love this browser. I can hardly wait to watch Vivaldi mature.
It's already a great browser. Just needs to go through some growing pains.
FWIW, Vivaldi became my default browser after using it for just one afternoon. B)
Beats the heck out of both Firefox and Chrome.
I think the same, sure that Chrome and others in firsts versions had more bugs than Vivaldi now. But do not be afraid of the extensions, Chrome also need them
