      Custom CSS to hide the "overlay info bubble"

      .overlayinfobubble {
      	display: none;
      }

      I don't know why on earth Vivaldi absolutely has to copy every stupid dumbing-down idea from Chrome...

      I guess if they don't some stupid will moan about "why Vivladi no has nice info bubgle like Chromz?"

        @Pathduck said in The latest changes – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 3546.4:

        .overlayinfobubble {

        }

        I think that is more likely that Vivaldi has to make an effort to remove it, and then provide an option to toggle it on or off.

                  There's now often considerable (5-10 second) delay between clicking a link in external program and it opening in Vivaldi.

                      @mib2berlin Correction: looks the problem is with Vivaldi switching to/rendering the new tab – it's as if the whole window freezes when I click an external link; sometimes some pictures on currently open tab will go blank. Clicking inside the window makes everything redraw, and the new tab appears (the problem also affects browser chrome – the new tab is not visible until I either click inside the window, or resize it).

                      After testing a bit more, it seems that the issue happens if Vivaldi's window was completely obscured when I clicked the external link (it doesn't happen if the window was partially visible). Any click inside Vivaldi's window will cause the window to redraw (as will resizing), but if I middle-click, scrolling will not work despite the cursor changing shape; the clicks are also not registered by the new tab before it's redrawn (eg. if I click in a place with a link, that link won't open, so this isn't just a simple redraw problem).

                      I'm on Windows 11 24H2, 225% DPI and Vivaldi is set up to use native window.

                        I test with links in Outlook, Windows 11 Pro 24H2, 225%, native window and cant reproduce it.
                        The Vivaldi window was minimized.
                        Do you use a 4K display?
                        From which app do you want to open external links.

                        EDIT: I was testing in stable but it is the same with the latest snapshot.

                          I've got two 5k (5120x2880) displays, and the problem only started with snapshot 3546.4. It doesn't matter in which external program I click the link – if Vivaldi's window is completely covered when I click it, the problem will appear. I also typically have at least two Vivaldi windows open, and I'm also running Windows in high contrast mode (but I have Forced colors disabled in Vivaldi).

                            I reproduced this on my work computer – it seems to only happen if there are at least two Vivaldi windows open, and both are fully covered.

                            My work computer is also Windows 11 24H2, high contrast mode, DPI set to 168% (3 4k displays).

                              OK, I guess not many users here have such a setup.

                                  Thank you for the report, it was already tagged with some lables, multi-monitor for example.
                                  I hope testers/developers can confirm it, I cant with my setup.

                                    @ender85 I'm having some of the same behaviour: If I click a link, the new tab doesn't appear until I either click the tab row, or I wait many seconds. (I just noticed right now that the latter case will cause it to appear on its own eventually. Does that happen for you as well?)

                                    I just tested your "it only happens if the Vivaldi window is obscured" aspect here and I get the same thing -- if Vivaldi is not in the foreground and unhidden, clicking the link displays the buggy behaviour, but if I leave it in the foreground and then drag the source of the link to my other monitor and click there, the tab opens immediately.

                                    (I'm opening from Thunderbird in these tests.)
