Like, do users understand what "Targetfilename Collisions" actually is?
Ööööhm? No. Sometimes it is a tragedy with such cryptic Techie Language.

Something like this, but for downloads:
Would be a good feature.

@Pathduck Thinking out loud here, a better, more descriptive name for the current setting might be something like:
Append (n) to Filename When Choosing Save as
, maybe with a description under it saying that it only applies to files that would otherwise have the same name.Obviously, such a rename would flip the logic of the setting, so:
- Checked: Adds
(n)
to the filename. - Unchecked: Asks for overwrite.

And you know what would be really awesome and actually placate the social media image-downloaders
That would be awesome.
- Checked: Adds

It’s that one does not uses a filename to save which is already present on the disk. The name you choose for a file may collide with the target of an already existing file, because both files have the same name.

@LunaSterling
Hello,
welcome to the 'Vivaldiserve'.Have fun with the browser and all the possibilities of 'Vivaldi'.
-
@steffelchen
Please always be careful with 'extensions'.Some, badly programmed ones, can cause real problems for the good Vivaldi browser.
As little as possible.

@steffelchen
I was pleased to read that you also use Linux.You can now create your own signature, starting at three .
You can enter your equipment there if you like.
This can be helpful if you have any questions. -
[Bookmarks] Focus lost after opening page from bookmarks bar folder (VB-91633)
My accessibility bug while using keyboard was solved after many many years!
Thanks to our developer Espen. -
So, it's Friday Snapshot back again!

🪲Linux Wayland has still trouble to drag files from filemanager into Vivaldi window with a web page f.ex. to upload multiple files.
X11 works.
Bug is VB-111410 "Drag and Drop multiple objects fails" - Confirmed. -

[Calendar] The day view does not update on date selection (VB-110864)
Can this be backported to stable? I really don't want to wait another month or so for this fix. I use the calendar extensively and this bug basically kills the whole feature for me. Having to switch between the month and day views all the time is a massive setback in productivity during my daily workflow.

is this an already known bug:
rename a rss folder and hit ENTER
-> a collapsed folder is opened afterwardsWin10 22H2

Crossing fingers here, but the condition making my feeds stop updating after restart seems to have gone. I opened the browser this morning and feeds were loaded, then I closed it for lunch and restarted and more feeds were loaded. Don't know if that's one of the changes in this snapshot or something to do with my corporate anti-malware stuff (I found in the last snapshot that I sometimes had to delete the mail storage folder for feeds to make them work again!)...
I'll wait a couple of days to confirm before closing the bug.
-
@mossman I'm still seeing feeds loading after a few days, so I will report that this snapshot resolves bug VB-110221.
-
@mossman
for me, some feeds are downloaded with some days delay and some get no updates -
@derDay d'oh!
