Window to modify bookmarks
-
I find this window at the bottom of the bookmark panel not very convenient : too narrow, if your url is long (you can enlarge the panel, but then you must do the opposite) and no buttons to cancel/close or save/close ... Is something planed to improve ; or a window like in Opera 12

Hi, you can use:
vivaldi://bookmarks/
to get a window and put link to speeddial or so.Cheers, mib

Hi, thinks for the answer.
With vivaldi://bookmarks/ we can see the long urls, but to modify …. same problem -
The button in the panel to save is the little pen/pencil at the top of the panel, which changes color when you have editing on/off. If you have editing on, click it and editing will turn off (saving your changes) and it will change color.
In the Bookmark Manager window, save changes by clicking on another field in the bookmark editing box, like 'description" or "nickname."

thank you Ayespy..
Everyday we learn  -
In the Bookmark Manager window, save changes by clicking on another field in the bookmark editing box, like 'description" or "nickname."
This does not solve the problem reported in the OP, and in the Bookmarks Manager, the side panel cannot be expanded to see the whole URL either. The long URL can be read in the manager list, but it cannot be edited there.

However, having a dialogue to edit bookmarks, like in Opera 12.17 Bookmarks Properties still doesn't solve the issue for long URLs. One still has to expand the dialogue, though at least there's no need to contract it again. Just close the dialogue and it will revert to its default size the next time it's opened.
