Neither did I, until the new Snapshot. I suspect that since I use Mail and Calendar that I wasn't nagged with that particular remainder.

The new Snapshot has a pop-up that locks the browser unless I click a button that Copies a link to my clipboard for me to "Share Vivaldi with friends".

I'm really not a fan of this behavior

Interesting. I haven't got this one yet 🤨

@sjudenim, it's strange, anyway check the URL if there is any redirection (hijacker?).

I want to save my Vivaldi settings before updating to v7. My first approach was to go to File > Export, but there is no option for exporting settings. So I thought I would just capture the whole settings page. However, there is not an option, when on vivaldi://settings/all/, to capture the whole page, only a selection. Is there a technical reason for this? (FWIW, the option appears on some internal pages, but not others.) If there is not a technical reason, I can make a feature request.

Having a full-page capture of the settings page would also come in handy when I am helping a friend or family member switch to Vivaldi. For those who are mid-level technically savvy, I could simply email them my settings page.

Screenshots of the whole page don't work in intern pages with the inbuild tool, nor with screenshot extensions (eg. Webpage Screenshot) or apps (eg.ShareX, only admit to capture it in several shots). (???)

New & bloated with "features" that make it less stable, slower, and are harder to find. I'm still trying to locate unfinished items I left up at last closure. Time to move back, but I'll have to search for "to what?"

I loved the new UI, the Dashboard (I customized my one) and finally to organize my feeds in (sub)folders. But I have some requests about this last one:

      • add the possibility to select more than one feed item. I had to drag and drop each one into a folder.

      • order the feed items in importance order: folders in first and after the feed items that aren't in folders

Hi, please create requests in the feature request section, one request per thread.

      https://forum.vivaldi.net/category/185/desktop-feature-requests

You can search for existing requests on a user page, there are only a handful if I search for "dashboard".

@DerekBrady Click on the Vivaldi/Menu icon, in the menu select File and “import from application or files,” there you will find an option for opml files.

I was really upset when I saw the new rebrand, I understand most think it looks better and I'm not saying they're wrong but I was attached and used to the normal icons. To see that it only took two setting changes to make the UI look as it did before and that I did not have to manually update all of my themes to use the old icons individually made me so unbelievably happy that I just had to mention it to the team. Thank you guys so much for providing an option to not only keep the old icons but making it so seamless and quick, I really appreciate it especially with how much software will shove a rebrand down your throat.

For anyone interested in the settings to reverse it, here are the two settings:

Vivaldi 7.0 introduces a completely redesigned user interface, featuring floating tabs, sleek new icons, and a customizable Dashboard. The new Dashboard centralizes your digital tools into one convenient space. Along with updated Feed Reader capabilities, Vivaldi 7.0 is not just an update, it’s a new Vivaldi.

Well I personally love the old design. Though this one has some amazing display features like I am loving this customizable dashboard. This is so beautifully designed!
