Had you tested X11 instead of Wayland? could be Wayland related.

Sorry, about to give up on Vivaldi, for this reason...
Cannot copy/paste at all.
Sometimes just pastes the same thing again, and again, even after copying many/varied items.
Can't copy into Vivaldi, can't copy out of Vivaldi... can't copy within Vivaldi.
will try a few more cleanups/etc, but is becoming too hard.

Hi, as @DoctorG mentioned, all work fine with X11 but not Wayland.
I tried Wayland several times but always get issues with my software, video editors, Blender 3D and others.
Sad to hear you want to give up on Vivaldi, no idea which browser I would use instead.

As above @DoctorG ASKS about that, but @edwardp confirms it is for both....?
And I have been using Wayland (yes, know it has issues) since 6 was released - copying has been fine up until a month or so back.

Hm, I copy/paste hundreds times a day in Vivaldi, the only thing not working at moment is copy with select and paste with middle mouse click in the address bar.
Copy link in other browser, text from Kate, images from Gimp and paste in Vivaldi, all working.
This is with drag and drop.

Yeah, not sure, works fine in other (Firefox) browser, just know that it is SO annoying - copy/paste often.

On the page click "Unregister" to all service worker from unknown addresses.

You can use "Delete Browsing Data" with this settings to unregister all in one rush.

Be careful if you use a user scripts extension like Tampermonkey. A user report scripts are deleted with the setting "Storage".
