Missing Tabs
-
Today I did something and I do not know what I did. However, after I did the thing that I didn't not recognize, I had a two inch tab box at the top of my screen that was ugly. I turned this off hoping it would fix the problem and it got rid of the tab box. However, now i have no visible tabs if I wish to open up a second or third page. I've gone through every setting I could find to correct this to no avail. And I can't find a revert to original setting in the browser so I can start at square one and then re-customize my browser. Can anyone help me? I don't want a tab box. I just want normal tabs at the top like a normal browser has. I think I had them before but they're gone and I need to get them back.

Hi, if no user have an other idea you can rename the folder "default" in your home directory.
Path is in help menu > about.
You can copy files back to the new "default" folder, bookmarks for example, to get settings back.
Extensions are not working, need to reinstall, passwords may not work.
(Don´t store your passwords in Browser only!)Cheers, mib

Not sure from this description, but did you DISABLE "Show Tab Bar" under Tools/Settings/Tabs ??
Also, perhaps the "two inch tab box" was actually Tab Thumbnails - which have a separate setting on the same screen? -
I think TbGbe may have something here. I think you may have hidden your tab bar, rather than turning off tab thumbnails. In version 1.2, btw, tab thumbnails can't actually be turned all the way off. You can close them, but if you have tabs at top or bottom, you are likely to accidentally drag them open again, which is solved by grabbing the edge of them and dragging them back closed.
