Yes, when i press the Ctrl key its is detected as Ctrl (key code 17), other tools show correct LeftCtrl.

@DoctorG This morning I have tried everything on a different notebook with the same current version on Trixie and saw that the problem persisted.

Although I could not possibly know anything concerning Chromium or Fluxbox, it is obvious that the local configuration had no influence.
