Pesala (Forum Member) Question

Pensala, if I remember correctly, aren't you the guy that had alot of cool tricks and customizations for the old Opera 12xx ? I remember following your instructions on some things to customize Opera, such as how to put the extensions into an expandable/collapsible button on the bottom of the toolbar , and other cool things. Are you going to be doing similar things with Vivaldi? :cheer:

The name is Pesala (or Bhikkhu Pesala to use my full title. "Bhikkhu" is a Pali word for a Buddhist monk or an alms-mendicant, while "Pesala" is the name given at my ordination).
You can send a PM on the Vivaldi forums by clicking the speech bubble above a user's post count.
Yes I was also active on My Opera and some Tips can also be found on my Opera review page: http://www.softerviews.org/Opera.html
The tools don't yet exist for doing the same in Vivaldi. Editing CSS is too long-winded to be worth doing in my opinion, so I will wait until there is an easier method. Whatever tips I know for Vivaldi are on my review page: http://www.softerviews.org/vivaldi.html

Please excuse my mistake regarding your name - I had saw you around on the forum but couldn't quite remember the spelling correctly. I will check out your Vivaldi page - nice to see you over on the Vivaldi forums, your customizations for Opera were very handy and cool, I will be watching what you do with Vivaldi

Do you know if the old search.ini editor for Opera 12x works on Vivaldi?
Have you figured out how to move buttons around yet? -

As I said, I will wait for tools to be provided before I try to do this. Perhaps it's just as easy as writing opera:button code, or editing ini files, but I have don't have time to learn new tricks.
