@funkytoad Note that if you use Sync, and deleting the Login Data file from the file system, it will most likely just sync your passwords back. You either have to disable Sync temporarily or delete the passwords from the browser UI - and THEN delete the file after closing the browser (make sense?)
"Export email settings" would be a great help. That's going to be brutal.
Yep, that's why I'm still on Thunderbird, as profiles are completely self-contained... sorry devs...

@Pathduck Whoa. That did the trick!! Nice save Pathduck. Thanks!

Computers are weird man
It was worth a shot, I think I remember something similar years back - something is "corrupt" with the SQLite database for passwords so every time the browser tries to access it, it crashes...No idea about the search field, but sometimes Chromium gets confused what is a password field and what isn't.
-
@Pathduck As an aside, the export-passwords created a 0 byte .csv file, so something bad happened to the login data file, which happened with this snapshot.
-
Well, a profile cleaner/refresher will solve these form filling issues?
-
@funkytoad
Hi, I tested this and export work for me.
I guess if the login database is broken the export is too.
Maybe it is time to think about a reset, I would not trust such a profile anymore.Cheers, mib
EDIT: Does the export work after you repaired the Login Data file? -
@allanh: Confirm. The shortcuts are screwed again.
I have even wrote the report:(VB-107662) Extensions' shortcuts don't work
(back in June 27). -
@dayfuaim
Hi, your report is marked as duplicate of VB-99874, confirmed, developer assigned.Cheers, mib
