Nice to see your reply, dia-dia, but a translation to English would also be nice.

  • Ah.. Making sense, Merser but.. Mozart also wrote operas. Why not Mozart.net? (wink)

The simplest answer - why not? :)

Actually, the idea was - short and wellknown word that have similar writing and spelling on the different languages.

Being the personal name of that leading composer of opera, in addition to be a melodious word, tuneful in fact, helps to memory –easy for people to remember and pronounce. Okay, great to know.

A person’s name is virtually as important as the person himself. I think, as with the name of our Community, our new home, Vivaldi.

So, thank you very much, Shpankov, for making the thing slightly clearer. (up)

  • Yeah, I know what you mean, Teresa. I know where you were going with this. You were wondering, "Why not something like G … as in Kenny G? Or why not something like Bolton ... as in Michael Bolton?" Right? I KNOW you would have loved to Blog in a Community named G.

  • Or (idea) …Shelton.
What's wrong with trying Shelton, Charlie? :P

  • Ohhh, I see SOMEONE hasn't forgotten Mr. Blake Shelton. Yeah, I can see you wanting that as the name for the community.

The funny thing is that at first I had no clue to whom you were referring. I was thinking in terms of first name. So, I was, "Shelton? Who the heck is Shelton? I don't know any Shelton. I guess I'd better ask Teresa to give me a clue." Then after the page loading got stuck, I temporarily went elsewhere to comment. In the process of coming back here again, it finally hit me, "Ohhhhh! Why of course! Blake Shelton.

Gracias for the info, ra-mon (Is your name Ramón perchance?)..

Does Jon love the music of Vivaldi? Ah well, it'd explain better the selection of Vivaldi as that company name you made reference above as well as this web site title. (up)
